Tarzan: Lord of the Louisiana Jungle Exhibition
April 12, 2012 – April 2013
Louisiana State Museum at Patterson, Louisiana

After working on the documentary film for over four years, we have uncovered so many interesting things dealing with the film Tarzan of the Apes and the world of Edgar Rice Burroughs. In 1923 Burroughs became the first to incorporate himself due to the demand for the use of the characters he created in his books. This exhibition will tell the story of the making of the first two Tarzan films in Louisiana and display a healthy number of Tarzan related items.
